The list of the following electronics projects for beginners in engineering includes different technologies like GSM, RFID, Android, SCADA, DTMF, etc.

Load Cutoff Switch Upon Over Voltage or Under Voltage

The under-voltage and over-voltage system are used to protect the load from damages. We are frequently observing the fluctuations from the AC mains supply in the homes or industries causes considerable damage to sensitive electrical devices. This project is enhanced to protect the electrical loads from damages by a tripping mechanism.

This proposed system uses the two 555 timers is acts as a window comparator, which will trip the load in the event of the input voltage falling below/above a set value. If an input voltage to them crosses the range beyond the voltage the 555 timer delivers an error output then transistor trips the load with a respective signal which is one of the best engineering projects.

Garage Door Lifting System using DTMF Technology

This project is developed based on a DTMF technology it is the latest technology in electronics is used to develop the main and mini projects for ECE students. This project is used to control the door locking and unlocking with a mobile phone over long distances.

This is the 8051 microcontroller based basic electronics projects. If any button is pressed to produce a corresponding tone on the user phone, that same tone will be heard at the other end of the cell connected to the circuit to operate the door. This tone is called a DTMF (‘Dual Tone Multi-Frequency’) tone.

RFID based Security Access Control System

This project is used to provide security for homes and offices to prevent other persons enter in over the secure area by using RFID tag contains a basic electronic circuit that is used for storing and processing the information by modulating and demodulating signals transmitted. If the RFID is swiped on the reader, then turns the load by using the relay. This whole system is controlled by the 8051 microcontrollers used in basic electronics projects.

This project using a jumper which indicates the cracks of the railway track. If the user removes the detachable jumper from the track, then this information is sent to the nearby station via SMS through a GSM modem. This project developed by using the 8051 microcontrollers which are used in electronics mini projects and basic electronic projects.

Android Application Controlled Remote Robot Operation

The objective of this project is to control the robot in various directions by remotely using an Android application. This project is designed with 8051 microcontrollers which is used in basic robotic projects for engineering students. If the user can enter the commands to the Android application on the GUI, then the microcontroller controls the robot in all directions such that forward, backward, right, and left, etc., based on the input commands. Android robots are very useful for the industries to perform specific operations.

Single Phase Cycloconverter using SCR

This project is designed with back-to-back SCRs that are used to control the speed of the single-phase induction motor by using the cyclo-converter technique. As to operate the motor with three-speed ranges relating to (F, F/2, F/3) wherein F is the fundamental frequency.

In this project using a microcontroller of 8051 receives a selection of the bridge from the switches and delivers the desired trigger to the SCRs bridge to conduct in F, F/2, F/3 to send to the motor  3 steps of frequency. As the speed of the induction motor depends on the frequency the speed variation is achieved in three ways such as F, F/2, F/3.

Sun Tracking Solar Panel

This project is designed with a stepper motor that is used to track the sun in all directions for the conversion of maximum solar energy from the daylight using solar panels connected to the stepper motor such that the panel retains its face always perpendicular to the sun so that generate maximum energy. This process is performed by a programmed microcontroller to deliver stepped pulses in periodical time intervals from morning to evening instead of simple, light sensing, for the panel mounted to stepper motor rotates desired position. This project developed by using the 8051 microcontrollers is a basic electronic project.

Vehicle Movement Sensed LED Street Light with Idle Time Dimming

This is a sensor-based project is used to save electrical energy. The objective of this project is to detect a vehicle movement on road to switch on only a block of street lights infant of the vehicle, and to switch off the glowing lights when the vehicle passes away from the lights. The IR Sensors that are placed on both sides of the traveling way are used to sense the object’s movement and send the logic commands to an AT89S52 series microcontroller to switch on or off the LEDs for a particular distance.

SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) for Remote Industrial Plant

This project is designed to achieve and control the real-time data remotely by the administration for large scale industries. The SCADA system is one of the great technologies in basic electronics projects is used to monitor remote areas without human intervention. In this project, using four temperature sensors which are located in various places whenever the temperature of a sensor increases from the set point of the GUI, as the relay is made to switch ON and OFF the heater (a lamp load) to maintain the set temperature.

Fastest Finger Press Quiz Buzzer

The main concept of this project is to know the person who pressed the buzzer fast between a group of people. A Quiz buzzer system allows any user to press the switch to produce a logic signal, which is sent to the D-flip-flop. The flip-flop generates a corresponding O/P signal to trigger the transistor. The transistor switches the piezo buzzer to give an alert along with the indication of the switch pressed with the LEDs. Here the D-flip-flap working as a priority encoder, therefore, it is giving the priority to the first switch who pressed in a group of all switches are pressed at the same time.
