Free Mini Projects on Electronics for Engineering Students

Nowadays, projects on electronics play an important role in the field of electronics engineering. ECE is one of the most popular branches in an engineering, and there are a number of students showing interest in ECE branch. This branch offers an immense opportunity for the electronics students. Every engineering student must complete their project work to complete their degree successfully. This article lists a latest mini projects on electronics for engineering students.

Furthermore, students can gain many options to choose their electronics projects for final year in various categories like embedded, robotics, solar, GPS, GSM, etc. These categories of electronic project circuits will give a huge opportunity for the students. To get the better concept over the projects on electronics, kindly look into the following projects with descriptions. Here you can check out the projects related to electronics project ideas.

Mini Electronics Projects for Engineering Students

The latest mini electronics projects for engineering students are discussed  below.

FM Transmitter 2 KM Range for Yagi Antenna

The main aim of this project is to design a long range FM transmitter circuit to transmit the clear signals in the range of 2Km using a Yagi antenna connected to the circuit. This project comprises three components such as a voltage control oscillator (VCO), variable frequency oscillator and power amplifier & battery for power supply. The voltage control oscillator is used to generate the separate signals at a given frequency with minimal attenuation. The power amplifier is used to increase the power of the weak input signal.

If someone starts speaking the clear message through a microphone connected to this system, then others can listen to this audio from a mobile using FM radio in the range of 2Km with the help of the Yagi antenna. This project can be implemented in colleges or in universities, where the latest announcements in a college can be known to the students by changing the frequency using an FM receiver.

Remote Jamming Device

The main intention of this project is to design a remote jamming device, which can jam the rays of the TV remote. This project uses a 555 timer IC in astable mode, which is made to produce the higher power pulses that are emitted  by an IR diode. These rays while aimed at the TV receiver deactivates the IR sensor built into the TV. Thus, when any key is pressed on the remote, the IR rays sent will not have any result on TV. In future, this project can be developed by using IR diodes such that it can be operated from a long distance.

Time Delay Based Relay Operated Load

The main goal of this project is to design a time delay based relay operated load. This project uses a 555 timer in monostable mode to make a relay to switch ON/OFF a load for a static time duration. This circuit is designed with a simple adjustable timer circuit to control the actual relay. The time is modifiable from 0-few seconds, but can be increased by increasing the time constant of the monostable 555 timer. The current handling capacity of the load is restricted by the type of relay used. A lamp is used as a load in this project.

Burglar Alarm on Window Glass Breaking

The main intention of this project is to monitor and detect any burglar attempt while it involves window glass breaking act to give an alert with a buzzer. This project uses a 555 timer in astable mode. A transistor is used to trigger the timer, when there is a break in a wire loop attached to the window glass. And, a detachable jumper is used as a wire loop for the purpose of demonstration. If the same is removed, it activates the 555 timer which in turn triggers a buzzer to make an alarm sound. This project can be developed by interfacing it with a GSM modem so that whenever the loop breaks, an alert message is sent to the user through an SMS.

Active Cell Phone Detector

The main purpose of this project is to design a active cell phone detector, which is used to notice the active cell phone from a distance in the restricted areas while anyone tries to make a call or message and to give an alert to the authorities by a buzzer.

In this proposed system, an RF detector by using tuned LC circuits is formed for noticing the signals in the GHz frequency. A capacitor is used to form the part of the LC circuit as C, while the lead of the same forms an  to receive the RF signals from the mobile phone. When the mobile phone is triggered, the RF transmission signal is noticed by the detector and starts sounding an alarm and the LED blinks

Telephone Ring Sensed Flasher in Industrial Area

The main intent of this project is to identify a telephone ring in noisy environments and offer a visual indication by a flasher to the user for easy identification of incoming calls. This system is mainly used in some places wherein hearing a telephone ring is difficult; for instance, factories and workshops.

The phone line is connected to the circuit, and it is developed using an Opto-isolator and an electromechanical relay to switch ON/OFF the lamp driven by a transistor. In the future, this project can be extended and implemented in the real-time scenarios.

The above projects on electronics can be implemented by using different technologies. We believe that our latest Mini projects for electronics with circuits for ECE offer immense help to the III and IV year students and make them  to select suitable Project for electronics for their project work. Apart from these Electronics projects circuits, students can also go through some major projects from our website: www.elprocus.com
